Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center) opened in 1999 and is one of the busiest arenas in the world. It sits in Downtown Los Angeles, adjacent to L.A. Live — the entertainment complex that includes restaurants, hotels, a concert venue, and the Grammy Museum.

Getting There
Metro Rail (Recommended)
The most reliable option for event days. Take the A Line (Blue) or E Line (Expo) to 7th St/Metro Center station — it is a 3-minute walk to the arena. From Union Station (Metro hub): 10–15 min. From Santa Monica (E Line): 45–50 min.
From LAX
Take the LAX FlyAway bus to Union Station (~50 min), then Metro A or E Line to 7th St/Metro Center. Total: ~70–80 min. Rideshare from LAX: 25–45 min depending on traffic, ~$30–50.
Driving
I-110 to 11th St exit. Parking structures available nearby but expensive on event days ($25–60+). Metro is strongly recommended.
Basketball at the 2028 Olympics
Olympic Basketball features 12 men's national teams and 12 women's national teams competing in a round-robin group stage followed by knockout rounds. Finals at Crypto.com Arena will be among the most sought-after tickets of the Games.
