Canadian citizens do not require a visa or an ESTA to visit the United States. Canadians enter under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative with a valid Canadian passport. You may be asked at the border about the purpose and duration of your visit — attending the Olympics is a clearly acceptable reason.

Note: If you are a Canadian permanent resident but not a citizen, check requirements at travel.state.gov.

Flights

Direct flights from Toronto (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR), Montreal (YUL), Calgary (YYC), and other cities to LAX and other LA-area airports. Flight time from Toronto: ~5 hours. From Vancouver: ~2.5 hours.
